Introduction:

New U Life is a leading manufacturer of natural foods, vitamins, and performance supplements. It has recently created an exciting anti-aging product called SOMADERM™ Gel, the only transdermal homeopathic human growth hormone available without a prescription.

The Challenge:

As a new start-up company, New U Life did not have the team nor the warehouse space to package and distribute its own product. New U Life needed a partner who could source and supply all of its packaging materials, bottle the product, and fulfill thousands of direct to consumer e-commerce orders and orders to big box retailers like Target daily.

At first, New U Life asked the manufacturer in Iowa to bottle and ship the product for them, but the supplier lacked the resources to be able to handle this requirement. New U Life realized that they needed to find a new partner who could move quickly. The company needed a partner with expertise in packaging and fulfillment.

 

The Solution:

Landsberg Orora partnered with New U Life to source and supply all of the packaging materials they needed for every part of the product assembly. This included the bottles, labels, shrink sleeves, fill pumps, and boxes for the retail shelves and e-commerce packaging. The team also established fulfillment operations and integrated with New U Life’s ordering system to assemble and ship every order to customers and distribution centers throughout North America.

The Outcome:

Landsberg Orora ships 4,000-6,000 boxes of New U Life’s product per day. As a result, the customer is able to focus on marketing and selling its product rather than creating an entire operational structure of its own.
